Today I got together with some of the cast of The Real Inspector Hound at 11:00 AM outside the American Academy of Dramatic Arts building, seeing as it’ll be the last Saturday the school is available. I hopped inside and reserved us the LM theatre for the hour between 1 and 2 PM. After a quick visit to Tasty’s, Stephanie, Adam, G, Angela, and myself headed to the Park down the street. We sat by a statue and ran the entire play in ridiculous voices (myself using Sean Connery — which, surprisingly, works very well).

After the run was over, we talked for a while about some random stuff before heading back to AADA. On the way, we lost Angela… who had to leave. Once at the LM, we wound up having to kick a group of Evening Division students out of the space. I’d say that, after they were gone, we did absolutely nothing with it for about 10 minutes… which made me feel like a dick, so I suggested we started to read. Adam had gone to buy some water.

Cary joined us for our next run through, which was chock full of ridiculous characterizations.

Let’s put it this way, people came from downstairs to tell us to be quiet, as a show was starting directly underneath us. At the time, I was standing on a handrail looking like I was about to chew through electrical wires.

That’s what I call an impression.
