I don’t understand metabolism.

I’ve been working out like crazy these past few days, eating healthier than I have been in a while (except for that 1/2 a pizza a M&M binge at Slafta’s, but I swear I didn’t eat much of anything else that day), and yet I manage to pick up an additional 4 lbs. in the past few days. Now, one could make the argument that “muscle weighs more than fat,” but it’s only been a few days… nowhere near long enough to gain 4 lbs. of muscle.

Speaking of things I don’t understand — what’s taking the post office so long to deliver this damn letter?

Oh, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are now engaged. In other news, hell has frozen over.
